About twice a year I get the priviledge of doggie sitting Jacques. Jacques is my brother’s dog.
He is a French Bulldog.
Full name: Jacques Le Baron de Jambon.
He is a great dog, but oh-so-stubborn. When I walk him, he walks me. This week has been hectic with a dog and a baby. I think I got a taste of what it would be like to have two kids. Jacques is the new toddler in my life! Taking him on a walk in the city parks is a joke. He is pulling me up, down, sideways and all over the sidewalk which wouldn’t be half as bad if I didn’t have the baby with me too. Warning to new dog owners: NEVER tie one end of the leash to a baby stroller while your dog is attached to the other end. Stroller’s DO flip over. *yeeps*
We’ve taken to the KVR for some nice W&R (walk and relaxation). Here, he is free to roam around without being tied to me. Well….. when no one else is looking. shhhh!
The ironic part is that as soon as I release him he stays right by my side.
He really is a great little companion!
