Yesterday, my little one and I had our first big row (aka quarrel) (because only the queen’s english feels appropriate here).
It was the first time she completely, whole heartedly and intentionally disobeyed me.
And it was awesome. Not in the moment. Oh, no….I was shocked at her outrageous temper tantrum. She’s normally soooo chill and ….easy.
But she’s also so strong and confident. I love that she was standing up for herself. I hope she stand ups to any boy her mistreats her. Or anyONE who mistreats her, for that matter.
Now that’s not to say I was mistreating her. And it’s not to say I enjoyed her being ‘naughty’. But…. I had a glimpse into the future and thought… ‘good for her…. at least she’s seeing how far she can take it’.
DON’T tell HER I told you.
Thankfully, Mama is boss for another 20 years *wink*
